NOTICE :: Due to various reasons, we are in the process of moving websites. We apologize for our site not being up to date as of late but with the new web host we plan to use, it will be a lot easier for everyone at the shelter to be able to update it more often instead of using the complicated coding that we do now. The new site will have a lot more information for the public and with its easy web editing tools, we will be able to upload pictures and information quite a lot easier. Our new website is still being worked on and we hope to have everything on it that we want on it and have it up and running no later than the end of July ( Fingers crossed!! X ) and when it is ready for the public, we will announce it on our facebook page. We apologize for any inconvenience.

To see our available dogs and cats, please visit either our facebook page or our petfinders page.

Spay or Neuter

If you own a dog or cat, it is best to get them spayed or neutered to stop the over pet population. If you need help with the cost you can contact the Trinity Animal Shelter at (530)623-1370 for a Spay - Neuter Certificate (if available). These certificates are only valid for sixty (60) days so make sure to use it before it expires!

Reimbursement

With the Spay - Neuter Certificate, you will get a discount off of the Spay / Neuter cost at the vet.

Dog - $50.00 (All dogs must be licensed in order to receive one.)

Cat - $30.00

  • You must be a resident of Trinity County to get a Spay - Neuter Certificate.
  • Maximum of two (2) certificates per family.
  • Only vets in Trinity County will accept our Spay - Neuter Certificates.
