(These photos are just of Kilo)

This bonded pair is Kilo (male) and Hina (female). They are brother and sister pit mixes about 5 years old. Both of these two are super sweet low energy dogs but if they are separated they have major separation anxiety issues. When they came to us, they were both in very poor condition, they're skin was extremely swollen, infected and mostly balding. After several trips to the vet, many antibiotics and medicated baths, these two are looking and feeling much, much better! They still have a long ways to go before they are 100% but since we have found they need to be on thyroid medication for their entire life and are on the right path to recovery, we felt it was time to show them to the world so they could find a fur-ever home! Due to the condition they came in, we have not attempted them with other dogs yet but we plan to soon. They don't have any tendencies to fence fight though so that's a good sign. They do NOT do well with cats. If you are interested in these two, please either stop on by the Trinity County Animal Shelter located in Weaverville, CA or give us a call at 530.623.1370
