An update on Teddy: Unfortunately the new foster / potential adopter for Teddy had to return him to us. He adjusted well to the people but not their dogs so it wasn't a good fit. Teddy has gotten a lot better with liking people but is quite selective when it comes to his dog company. He is, however, great with cats! So with that, we are still looking for either a rescue or a home that will be aware of his needs.

This adorable little guy is Teddy! He was brought to us after a bite incident and is still very selective about who he's comfortable around. Since he has still been quite nervous, he's still been nippy but with positive reinforcement by our wonderful fosters he is slowly learning people aren't so scary. We are searching for a rescue group or an adoptive home that would be a good fit. His adopters will need to be patient with him as picking him up, loud noises and too much commotion can also cause him to be nervous. If you think you might be the right home for this little guy, please either stop on by the Trinity County Animal Shelter located in Weaverville, CA or give us a call at 530.623.1370
If you would like more information or would like to inquire about adopting, please call. We do not do online adoptions. 530.623.1370
